Common Name: Moluccan Cardinalfish
Description: It has two white lines on the head crossing the eyes, a white spot at the base of the second dorsal fin and distinct bands in the abdomen. Some individuals have clear stripes along the dorsum. They occur in pairs or in schools, and in some areas, they live among the tentacles of large anemones.
Habitat: Reefs surrounding the coastline, reef lagoons, and reef faces, at depths between 3 and 25 meters.
Dimensions: Up to 8.5 centimeters.
