Common Name: Taileye Cardinalfish
Description: It is semi-transparent with a distinct black spot surrounded by a light pigmentation, covering much of the base of the tail fin. It has a yellow or orange stripe along the center of the body. It occurs in pairs, small groups or large schools.
Habitat: Coastal reefs, usually in isolated reefs, on sandy slopes, or at the base of reef faces. It lives at depths between 15 and 30 meters.
Color: Semi-transparent.
Dimensions: Up to 5 centimeters.
Geographical Distribution: Indo-West Pacific
