Common Name: Mimic Cardinalfish
Description: Individuals of this species are red with a dark triangular spot at the base of the second dorsal fin. These solitary fish also have a wide dark band at the base of the caudal fin.
Habitat: Rocky and coral reefs, reef faces, slopes, at depths between 3 and 50 meters.
Color: Red.
Dimensions: Up to 7.5 centimeters.
Geographical Distribution: Western Atlantic
