Common Name: Broadsaddle Cardinalfish
Description: It is recognized by having a saddle-shaped spot on the caudal peduncle, through the white line in front of that spot, and a black bar below the second dorsal fin.
Habitat: Faces of deep reefs, reef slopes and walls at depths between 6 and 93 meters.
Dimensions: Up to 6 centimeters.
