Common Name: False Threespot Cardinalfish
Description: This fish is gray to light brown with two darker bands on the body, one under each dorsal fin. The tail fin is forked with rounded lobes. It feeds at night on benthic invertebrates.
Habitat: It occurs near the shore, in protected reefs, and more exposed outer reefs. It lives at depths between 1 and 35 meters.
Color: Gray to light brown.
Dimensions: Up to 15 centimeters.
