Common Name: Roughlip Cardinalfish
Description: Individuals belonging to this species are pink and are characterized by having reddish areas on the dorsal and anal fins, margins of the tail fin in a dark red color, and a dark red vertical band that extends itself from the base of the second dorsal fin to the venter. They also have a wide dark band on the caudal peduncle. They have the second dorsal and anal fins in a more pointed shape and a caudal peduncle longer than the other species of the same family.
Habitat: Outer edges of reefs and frontal reef slopes at depths between 3 and 30 meters.
Color: Pink.
Dimensions: Up to 11 centimeters.
