Common Name: Semilined Cardinalfish, Barface Cardinalfish
Description: It has a pair of dark bands originating from the tip of the snout, passing through the eye extending to the dorsum and sides. It displays a yellow area in the abdomen, and the back portion of the body as well as the caudal peduncle are salmon orange or pinkish. They also have a black spot at the base of the caudal peduncle. Their diet consists mainly of gammaridean amphipods.
Habitat: It inhabits rocky reefs covered in corals at depths between 12 and 100 meters.
Dimensions: Up to 12 centimeters.
