Common Name: Goldflake Angelfish
Description: Adults of this species have a black spot on the nape, being completely brown with golden scales centers. They have blue lips and the dorsal, anal and caudal fins are black. Juveniles are yellow with black bands, a black spot on the soft portion of the dorsal fin, a black neck band and black anal fin.
Habitat: Plains of reefs, lagoons, reef channels, faces of reefs, at depths between 3 and 80 meters.
Color: Brown (adults); yellow (juveniles).
Dimensions: Up to 25 centimeters.
Geographical Distribution: Pacific Ocean
