Common Name: Western Atlantic finless eel
Description: Whitish or pinkish eel with a lean body without fins. The snout is long and narrow. The tail is longer than the torso and head. The eyes are small. The front nostrils are tubular, and the gill slits are placed inferiorly on the sides in a vertical position.
Habitat: Demersal, at depths between 3 and 400 meters.
Color: Whitish or pinkish.
Dimensions: Up to 60 centimeters in lenght.
Geographical Distribution: Western Atlantic Eastern Atlantic
