Common Name: Smooth lumpsucker
Description: The dorsal fin has 8-9 rays while the soft anal fin has 7-9. Rounded caudal fin, pectoral fins large and broadly based; pelvic fins modified to form a suction disc with a thick margin on the ventral surface of the body.
Habitat: Benthopelagic. Inhabits depths between 0 and 1700 meters.
Color: Brownish gray with dark spots dorsally and gray ventrally.
Dimensions: Up to 41inches in total lenght.
Geographical Distribution: North Pacific Ocean
