Common Name: Faintlined Cardinalfish
Description: Individuals of this species have yellow snout, orange lines on the body, and a dark caudal peduncle (sometimes with a dark spot at the base of the tail fin). The tip of the anal fin is white. At night they disperse and feed on zooplankton in adjacent habitats.
Habitat: Estuaries, sheltered bays or lagoons, at depths between 2 and 15 meters.
Dimensions: Up to 10 centimeters.
Geographical Distribution: Indo-West Pacific
