Common Name: Regal Slipper Losbter
Description: Rigid bumps, numerous spines, bristles like-hairs are projected from the flattened antennae. The carapace is relatively smooth, but with deep wounds in the abdomen. Numerous bristles like-hairs on the body, especially on the sides. It hides in caves during the day and roams during the night, if disturbed quickly swims backwards by using movements of the tail, which it does when realizes the approach of divers.
Habitat: It lives in coral reefs and areas of sand or undergrowth vegetation at depths between 7 and 18 meters.
Color: Dark brown to yellow with red and blue shades.
Dimensions: It has between 10 and 18 cm in length.
