Common Name: Arctic cod
Description: It has three dorsal fins and two anal fins. It is dorsally brownish and ventrally silver. The tail fin is forked. The lower mandible is the same length of the upper mandible, or projecting slightly beyond. It has a barbel in the chin, in a shorter size than the diameter of the pupil.
Habitat: Bathypelagic, inhabiting depths between 0 and 1000 meters.
Color: Brownish and silvery.
Dimensions: Up to 32.5 centimeters in lenght.
Geographical Distribution: Arctic Ocean Northeast Atlantic
