Common Name: Southern Lugworm
Description: It seems a hill in volcanic cone form in the sand. The worms, which are never found above the surface live in burrows with a U form burried in the sand. They live solitary but in close areas, can sometimes be spotted from hundreds of cone-shaped hills, which are formed to excrete the sand that already ingested and removed from organic debris.
Habitat: It lives on sandy bottoms at depths between 1 and 20m.
Color: Green and brown with red-brown and white filaments.
Dimensions: Long, It has between 10 to 15cm.
Geographical Distribution: Caribbean Sea Western Central Atlantic
