Common Name: North-Pacific argentine
Description: Dorsal fin consisting of 10-13 soft rays; anal fin consisting of 11-15 soft rays. One dorsal fin in the center of the body and a forked tail fin. The eyes are large, the mouth is small at the end of the pointed snout. The anal fin is placed on the back of the body, under the adipose fin. The body is compressed.
Habitat: Demersal. It inhabits depths between 11 and 274 meters.
Color: Mostly silver with dark bars.
Dimensions: Up to 22 centimeters in total lenght.
