Common Name: Ascidian, sea squirt
Description: Body with a thick and cartilaginous curled wall. Oral terminal siphon and a gastrovascular siphon sensibly placed over the medium part of the body. Gills with papills on the intersection of the vertical and horizontal trabeculas and between the last ones. Short anus, placed at an inferior level than the more elevated part of the intestinal fold.
Habitat: Infra and circalittoral.
Color: Translucent (brownish, whitish) body.
Dimensions: 10 cm in height.
Geographical Distribution: Atlantic Ocean
