Common Name: Bronze cardinalfish
Description: Large eyes, separated dorsal fins and two anal spines. The scales are cycloid. The head and body are dark brown with a bronze reflex. The pelvic fins are short and dark, sometimes with very dark extremities. The rear nasal pore is round. It feeds at night on small organisms, including plankton.
Habitat: Associated with reefs. It occurs in beds of algae of the species Thalassia testudinum.
Color: Dark brown.
Dimensions: Up to 6.5 centimeters in total lenght.
