Common Name: Sand fish
Description: The snout is long and conical. The eyes are small, placed on top of the head. The body is light yellowish beige, with numerous small very dark brown spots. The scales are very small.
Habitat: Found in lakes, ponds, rivers and streams. It occurs in brackish waters in seasonally intermittent streams.
Color: Light yellowish beige.
Dimensions: Up to 16.3 centimeters in standard lenght.
