Common Name: Dorid nudibranch
Description: One of the most common dorids in Portuguese waters, it can be mistaken by other species of the same genus (namely H. villafranca and H. tricolor). It is distinguished by its irregular markings on the mantle and by the presence of yellow marks on the rhinophores´ posterior part (white on H. villafranca and nonexistent on H. tricolor) and on gills.
Color: Blue.
