Common Name: Duck barnacle, pelagic goose Barnacle, pelagic goosneck barnacle
Description: Smooth peduncle, bigger or with the same size than its carapace. This is formed by five smooth plates: a dorsal one (carina) and two on each sides.
Habitat: It usually lives fixed to floating objects.
Color: White or greyish plates. Brown peduncle.
Dimensions: 5 cm and more in lenght.
Geographical Distribution: Atlantic Ocean
