Common Name: Bicolor Goatfish, Half-and-Half Goatfish, Swarthyheaded Goatfish
Description: The head and anterior portion of the body are brown or dark reddish-brown with two lateral white stripes. The posterior portion of the body is white and yellow with a black dot. It probably feeds on polychaetes, crustaceans and other benthic invertebrates. The barbels are used to find prey in the substrate.
Habitat: Faces of reefs and frontal reef slopes at depths between 3 and 40 meters.
Color: Brown and white.
Dimensions: Up to 25 centimeters.
