| Description: | Very similar to the Pacific lionfish (Pterois volitans), the two species only occur simultaneously in Sumatra. It has venomous spine on the dorsal fin. Less active during the day, hunts at night and seeks diver´s lights. If one lights a small fish Pterois miles will promptly attack it. |
