Common Name: Devil firefish, red liofish
Description: Very similar to the Pacific lionfish (Pterois volitans), the two species only occur simultaneously in Sumatra. It has venomous spine on the dorsal fin. Less active during the day, hunts at night and seeks diver´s lights. If one lights a small fish Pterois miles will promptly attack it.
Color: Red and white.
Dimensions: 35cm.
Geographical Distribution: Atlantic Ocean
