Common Name: Athantic Mackerel
Description: Body's height smaller than the head's length. First dorsal with ten to thirteen thorns. Without a gaseous bladder.
Habitat: Pelagic (it reaches 250 m in depth), it can occur near the deep.
Color: Dark-blue back, turning to dark-green, with darkened transversal sides; silvered abdomen.
Dimensions: Until 60 cm in length.
Geographical Distribution: Atlantic Ocean
