Common Name: Sand diver
Description: Brownish gray on the head and upper torso. The venter is light with a large spot behind the opercular opening. They have eight dark bands in the upper body.
Habitat: Associated with reefs over sandy bottoms at depths between 3 and 320 meters.
Color: Brownish gray.
Dimensions: Up to 46 centimeters in lenght.
Geographical Distribution: Western Atlantic
