Comment from jenkyn knill on November 16, 2010 "Hi, my father was second officer on the Aisha when she detonated the mine. She suffered damage to the stern and was taken in tow by another vessel, She sank whilst under tow. I have photos and a water colour painting of her. Also if you google yacht wilna (SLR1510) you will find a model of her prior to her requisition by the navy. If you would like copies of the images have please let me know." |
